Gift Card Redemption Process

Gift Cards can be redeemed at the time of purchasing through your POS or Back office (call) orders.

How to Redeem Gift Cards- POS

Step 1- Open a POS order

Step 2- Fill in your customer details and other order information

Step 3- When you get to Payment Information, choose Gift Card as payment type.

Step 4- Enter the gift card number and Auth Key (optional), the click on Gift Card Balance to check its balance.

Step 5- If the Gift Card balance is greater than the order amount, simply click on Book Order to process the order.

*If the Gift Card balance is less than the order amount, select Other Payment to enter payment for the remaining balance. Then click Book Order to process.

(In the example below, Order total amount is $67.58 and Gift Card balance is $50, so remaining balance $17.58  will need to be paid with other payment method. This balance will auto populate by the system)

-To check Gift Card balances go to Tools , then Gift Card List

Steps 6-  Now go to Tools ---> Enter Receipts

Enter the receipt of the remaining balance ($17.58 ) against that customer, with same payment method that you used on Other Payment method, and post it.

How to Redeem Gift Card- Order Entry (Back Office)

Step 1- Open Order Entry

Step 2- Fill in your customer details and other order information

Step 3- At Payment Method use Gift Card for payment type

Step 4- Enter the gift card number and Auth Key (Optional), click on Gift Card Balance to check its balance.

Step 5- If the Gift Card balance is greater than the order amount, simply click on Book Order to process the order.

*If the Gift Card balance is less than the order amount, select Other Payment to enter payment for the remaining balance. Then click Book Order to process.

*To check Gift Card balances go to System Setup --> Company Setup --> Gift Card List

Steps 6- Go to A/R --> Cash Receipts ---> Customer Cash Receipts

Enter the receipt of the remaining balance ($27.93) against that customer with the same  payment method that you selected on Other Payment method and post it.
