How To Use The Sympathy Log

The sympathy log was created to help florists who particularly do a lot of funeral work. Using the log you can add a funeral service to the list, enter all the details (including viewing and delivery times), and access the list during the order process.This allows easy entry of the service information into the Ship To field, without having to reconfirm delivery places and times, everytime an order is placed for that service.

The first step is to enter the service information into the log. Go to your Tools section on your dashboard, find and then click on ‘Sympathy Log'.

 

Click on ‘New’ at the top to add your new viewing or service. The log will also show you the list of current or upcoming services which can be edited or deleted here.

 

Edit or Add New and complete the form.

 

 

 

 

You will be able to enter both Viewing and Service times, as well as the Delivery time and any other relevant delivery instructions. Be sure to click Submit to Save.

 

 

How To Use the Sympathy Log During the Order Process

Now that you have viewings and services entered in the log, you can access those during an order to eliminate having to enter in all of the service information time and time again. This process is much more time efficient and ensures that all the information is consistent on every order.

When a customer comes in or calls to order flowers for a service take the order as normal, obtaining customer information and product details.

In the Ship To field you will see Sympathy Log on the top bar. Click here and a new window will open with your list of services. Select the one you need and click OK to continue.

 

 

 

The Ship To fields and the delivery instructions will automatically populate into the order.

 

You can now enter your card message, collect payment and Book the order.
